    620 Cherokee Medical Office Building and Covered Parking

    This compact site is located across the street from Wellstar Kennestone Hospital.  Under building parking was utilized to maximize the site and to accommodate the two-story medical office tenant criteria.  Due to the geometry of the site, the front stair tower became an external design element that helped to maximize the tenant usable area. The design for the project was for the shell and core building, which includes the public lobby, fire egress stairs, two (2) elevators and building support spaces. The project consists of steel frame construction with brick and EIFS for the exterior skin with aluminum and glass window systems. LDDBlueline™’s Interiors Department provided the tenant build-out documents for three tenants in the building: Ortho Atlanta; Georgia Hand, Shoulder and Elbow; and NMotion.

    U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Community-Based Outpatient Clinic, Zebulon

    LDDBlueline™ was selected to provide architectural and interior design services for a state-of-the-art healthcare facility for veterans. The facility spaces include exam rooms, offices, a conference room, radiology, physical therapy, mental health, and specialty care. Interiors are designed to create a supportive, patient-friendly environment that promotes healing.

    Coordination with national Veterans Administration standards while providing a unique and cost-effective design was the focus of the project. Site parameters had to be closely coordinated for visibility and distance to entrances in order to minimize walking for staff and patients.
