    Brookhaven Medical Office Building

    The design team was tasked with providing services for two different specialties in Piedmont Health System: Pulmonology and Orthopedics. Pulmonology requires special attention to detail of patient flow and equipment requirements. It is imperative to provide short walks to exam rooms as the patients are often out of breath in short distances. In addition, LDDBlueline™ was challenged to create a 60 ft corridor for patient 3-minute walk tests that met the requirement yet did not appear as a never-ending corridor. For the Orthopedics portion of the project, LDDBlueline™ met the challenge of balancing patient flow and doctors’ workflow. The doctors’ work areas also needed to be in close proximity to the Xray Units and other centrally-located patient services.

    The design team was tasked to provide an upscale design for a new corporate office in Buckhead. The layout for this startup group of financial advisers was a true challenge. The design had to provide both an overall open feel the owners desired as well as private spaces for the staff.  The Client also wanted to explore unique angles in the layout, avoiding any looks of a mundane office. This group likes to work hard and also have fun. A Nitro Tap in the Break Room allows for that extra pick me up while working on a big project.

  • Southern First Bank

    Southern First Bank

    Southern First Bank partnered with LDDBlueline™ for their Atlanta location in the 309 East Paces Ferry building. The design goal was to create a welcoming and spacious lobby and queuing area for customers. The offices were purposefully placed along the street view to draw attraction from passersby, as well as to provide maximum sunlight into the interior space. The exposed to structure ceiling in the lobby was accentuated with floating soffits. Special attention was paid to the design of the vault and overall security concerns. More elevated finishes and design were implemented in the boardroom for a more executive feel.

  • Holy Family Catholic Church Chapel Renovations and Restorations

    Holy Family Catholic Church Chapel Renovations and Restorations

    LDDBlueline™ was selected to provide full architectural and interior design services for renovations and restorations to the Chapel at Holy Family Catholic Church. This includes raised sanctuary/chancel platform, selection of new “gothic” style furnishings, updated sound system, new lighting, HVAC system upgrades, redesign entry vestibule, new flooring and paint.

    Peachtree Orthopedics Clinic – Herrington Ambulatory Surgical Center and Clinic

    Designing a cohesive layout for the clinic space, therapy space and administrative space on the 3rd floor was a balancing act. LDDBlueline™ was also faced with the challenge of determining the doctors’ workflow and required adjacencies while keeping patient flow a priority. The floor plan achieved the goal of keeping the doctors’ pods in close proximity to the X-ray units and other centrally located patient services. The Ambulatory Surgery Center design encompassed the need for pre-procedure patients, post-procedure patients and the elements of the sterile corridor to all work together. Special consideration and coordination were also given to the above ceiling requirements for the equipment layouts and other infrastructure.
