LDDBlueline completed a 34,000-square-foot addition for Amigos Por Vida Charter School in southwest Houston through a design/build partnership. The project features a two-story classroom wing, a multi-purpose cafeteria, administrative offices, and support spaces, expanding capacity for 500 additional students. Programmatically, it introduces dedicated middle school learning environments with flexible classrooms, integrated technology, and daylightfilled corridors that promote collaboration. Circulation and shared spaces enhance student interaction while optimizing supervision and accessibility. Constructed with durable materials and efficient systems, the addition improves overall building performance and energy use. The design strengthens the school’s mission by uniting functionality, adaptability, and a cohesive campus identity.
